Accreditation
Accreditation Team....
Child care services Accreditation in Alberta valid for three years. Each year, on the anniversary date of their accreditation, a child care program submits a report to the accreditation body to demonstrate that they are continuing to maintain and enhance the quality of their services.
Prior to the end of the third year, the child care service undertakes the re-accreditation review and has a site visit that is similar to what was completed for initial accreditation.
The main purpose of the team is to ensure open lines of communication between all involved parties and ensure everyone is on track as we work through the accreditation process.
Our next re-accreditation visits will be in early 2020! If you would like to be a part of this process, attend accreditation meetings, and help enhance Little Bear’s Early Childhood Program, please contact Little Bear Dayhome Agency, or fill out the form below.
Surveys ....
Family, Provider and Staff Surveys are sent out periodically.
If you did not receive one, or if you can not access this form and would like to request one, please contact our office at 403 942-1129.
The questionnaire asks for your feedback on various areas that will be addressed during re-accreditation. Please take a few moments to complete the questionnaire and to add comments on the back of the page or on a separate sheet of paper if you wish. It is important that you answer honestly, because your opinions will play an important role in helping us determine what we are doing well and where we can improve.
To protect your confidentiality, please place your completed survey in a sealed envelope and return it to the agency without identifying information. The results from the surveys will be summarized by our family day home agency and incorporated into our Quality Enhancement Plan.
